Nanako is a young high school girl who suddenly gains psychic powers due to an experiment gone out of control by the mad scientist Tomoshige. As a fellow high school student, Tomoshige promises to help Nanako if she joins his detective agency. She naively believes him and Tomoshige embarks on countless get rich quick schemes using Nanako's newfound powers. This slapstick drama follows their various misdeeds as they get involved with strange guest characters such as underground syndicates, psychics, and even aliens.
